For The First Time Ever, Fox News Listeners Do Not Believe What They Are Hearing
NEW YORK CITY, NY – Fox News announced today that they are parting ways with their most popular prime-time host Tucker Carlson after more than a decade.
The announcement comes just days after the network agreed to pay $787.5 million to Dominion Voting Systems to avoid a high-stakes trial.
Carlson was one of the many news correspondents at the center of the Dominion lawsuit, having been accused along with the network of intentionally airing false and unsubstantiated claims that Dominion rigged the 2020 Presidential Election.
Since the announcement of Carlson’s departure, Fox News listeners have for the first time ever begun expressing doubts about the credibility of the network.
“I always believe everything that FOX News has to say. Always. But this one is almost too crazy to believe. This is fake news!” tweeted @BrinleighJackson, a Fox News listener from Columbia, Missouri.
“The 2020 election was rigged, there’s no doubting that. But Tucker Carlson has been fired from Fox? Now who’s gonna believe that?” tweeted @Semperfigunsordie from Lake Jackson, Texas.
Carlson was unavailable for comment and as of press time, millions of Americans have been searching on Google “Things I can do at 8pm?”
