Breaking: Chicken and Rice Voted As New National Dish Of America For Its High Protein and Carbohydrate Content, Not Flavor
UNITED STATES – The chicken and rice combo has been voted by the American public as the new national dish, replacing the long-reigning hamburger.
The popularity and promotion of healthy, clean living have propelled this incredibly bland dish to the top of American cuisine, with gym rats and influencers leading the charge.
“I do not care about flavor at all, that means nothing to me. Do you know what is tangible and has actual results? Calorie intake and protein-to-carb ratio,” said gym influencer Joey Whole.
Results from consumer focus groups found that nearly 60% of American households consume chicken and rice together at least 5 meals a week, with those numbers being as high as 80% among participants who identified as young professionals.
