“IT’S FREEZING IN HERE!” SAYS WOMAN ON THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE SUMMER
TEXAS – While extreme heat continues to ravage Texas cities this week, one woman still found it in her cold, dark heart to complain about it being “chilly” inside her neighborhood bar.
“I’m just so cold-natured! I can’t help it!” laughed Rachael Tuggey, a project coordinator at a local non-profit for the homeless.
Witnesses at the bar that Tuggy frequents reported that she has asked bartenders several times if they can turn the air-conditioning up a few degrees, despite outside temperatures reaching highs of 107ºF.
Bar patron Joe Schupenbacher, who has witnessed Tuggey complain about the temperature inside the bar several times, had this to say:
“There isn’t a more tone-deaf woman. I mean Jesus Christ, you think the homeless people that she is trying to help want the AC turned up?! I think not.
At press time, Tuggey was seen back at the bar wearing a cardigan and a sour expression after seeing that the thermostat was set at 72ºF.
