Mother’s Day? This Mom Expects To Be Celebrated All Week

DALLAS, TX – Today is Mother’s Day, and Alicia Montalbano, mother of four, was awoken to breakfast in bed by her loving family. After hugs and kisses from her husband and children, Alicia promptly asked what was for breakfast in bed tomorrow.

“Yes, Mother’s Day is technically one day but, in my house, I think I deserve to be honored for the whole week,” said Alicia, who already requested the PTO days with her work.

Neighbors and close friends of the family told reporters that since the day began, they have seen the husband and children doing nonstop chores around the house while Alicia sits on the couch re-watching Downton Abbey for the fifth time.

At press time, Alicia told her husband to go buy her a few gallons of ice cream while using one of her children’s backs as an ottoman to prop up her feet.
