Tanning In The Driveway Is Suburban Dads’ Favorite Pastime

TEXAS –The beginning of summer means the beginning of extreme heat, and with temperatures climbing in the triple digits, most people prefer to stay confined in their air-conditioned homes.

For dads living in the suburbs, however, there’s no place they would rather be than tanning in the driveway during the hottest part of the day.

“When it gets to about 12 PM and I have a little break in between meetings, I really enjoy tanning in my driveway next to my vehicle,” said Gus Gigliotta while tanning on a beach towel in his front driveway.

Gigliotta told reporters that it’s not just him who likes to tan on his driveway and said that most of the other dads on his street, all of whom he has never talked to, like to tan in their driveways as well.

At press time, Gigliotta’s teenage daughter was seen in the family car honking at her father for blocking the driveway, screaming “I wish you didn’t tan!”
