“It’ll Eat,” Says Dad About a Meal That Will Most Certainly Not Eat

OKLAHOMA—With the wife out of town for the weekend, it was up to Donal McDuggan to prepare dinner for his two young children. “When I realized that we didn’t have any white bread, I decided to use the next best thing. It’ll eat,” said McDuggan as he set down three plates of peanut butter and jelly tacos for himself and his kids. “My kids know that their Dad doesn’t know how to cook, but I am still teaching them the valuable lesson that you have to make do with what you got. Money doesn’t grow on trees, you know.” McDuggan’s children told reporters at press time that their dad lectured them at the dinner table for 45 minutes on how they didn’t have peanut butter jelly tacos when he was growing up and that they should consider themselves grateful.
